Remanufactured High End Production Machinery
At Boyle Tool & Die Co., we have specialized in manufacturing high quality dies and machine parts for over 40 years. Our team of experts is well known for taking on challenging projects. This was exemplified when a customer needed a large shaft and gear mount custom manufactured for use on high end production machinery. This shaft and gear mount had a broken casting, and a new one from the OEM had been quoted with a timeframe of 6 weeks. Our client needed this component before then, so our experts reverse engineered the parts using the broken casting. We employed our AutoCad Software, measuring tools, Master Cam Software, and CNC mill to fabricate this product from A36 steel. The final measurements of the overall part were 2.835” x 17.874” x 24.725”, with precision tolerances of ±0.0005”. Our engineers were able to improve the original design, helping to reduce the chances of future part failure. Using reverse engineering and state-of-the-art machinery, we were able to manufacture this assembly more quickly and cost-effectively than the original OEM. Our entire process was completed in two weeks-a quarter of the time of our customer’s original quote. After the design and machining processes were completed, we delivered the final product in a crate to our client.
